Praia da Cruz is north of the Sal Rei centre, between the town and Praia de Cabral. It is the area where the Barceló Marine Boa Vista settled, the former Marine Club, today a five-star adults-only hotel. The plot faces the hotel.
It is an already built-up area, with houses and flats, defined streets and the town centre within a walk. The Nossa Senhora de Fátima chapel and Praia de Cabral, the town beach of Sal Rei, are less than a kilometre away.
